He was predeceased by: his father Worth Hunt; his siblings, Datris Hunt, Robin Hunt, Lena Locklear, Mary Lois Long and Esther Hunt; and his son Gene Odis Hunt.
He is survived by: his children, Guy Hunt (Renee) of Lumberton, NC, Brenda Jacobs of Lumberton, NC and Teresa Mizzell of Shannon, NC; and his siblings, David of Fairmont, NC, Wallace Hunt of Fairmont, NC and Nancy Deaver of Faison, NC.
