He is survived by: his wife Tilda McMillan; his children, Latonya Gipson (Kelvin), Mary Chavis Lumberton (Larry), Teresa McDowell (Keith) of New York, Stephanie Murray (Gary), Lamont McDonald Fayetteville (Anne) and Tyrone McDonald of Charlotte, NC; his siblings, Helen Randolph of Raleigh, NC, Mary Coleman Virginia (Lander), Ruthell Threadgill of Lumberton, NC, Sandra Taylor (William Earl), Jerry McMillan Jr. (Freddie) of Delaware and William McMillan of Lumberton, NC; his grandchildren, Anqwon Gipson, Tamara Gipson and Kelvin Gipson Jr.; his great grandchild Ar'Kaysen; his mother-in-law Ilar McDonald of Fairmont; and his close friend John Leggett of Fayetteville, NC.. He is also survived by other nieces, nephews' cousins and other relatives and friends.
