She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Tyler and Bertha Tyler; her husband Garfield Jacobs; her daughter Judy Jacobs; her brother Junious Tyler; her pet Winford Tyler (Monk); and her sisters, Mary and Evelyne Tyler.
She is survived by: her children, Verlyn Jones (Roger) of Pine Bluff, NC, Linda Strickland (Ernest) of Laurinburg, NC, Larry Jacobs (Mary) of Fairmont, NC, Katie Miller (Kenneth) of Pembroke, NC and Joey Jacobs of Calabash, NC.
