She was predeceased by: her parents, Buddy Lashley and Betty E. Lashley; her husband Herman Lamar Holden, Sr.; her son Michael D. Prevatt; her stepdaughter Rhonda Holden; her brother Boy Blue Lashley; and her great grandchild Crystian Carroll.
She is survived by: her children, Barbara Carroll of Lumberton, Benny Prevatt of St. Pauls, Dale Prevatt (Becky) of Lumberton, James Prevatt of Lumberton and Alan R. Prevatt; her stepsons, Herman Lamar Holden, Jr. of Fairmont and Perry Holden (Stacey) of St. Pauls; her siblings, Rev. George Lashley (Faye) of Beaver Dam, NC, Mary Holden (G. W.) of Fairmont and Elizabeth T. Walters of Lumberton; and her nephew Bo Holden of Fairmont. She is also survived by nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
