He is survived by: his wife Betty; his children, Johnny Oxendine (Sue), Ricky Oxendine and Angela Locklear (Leander) of Lumberton; and his siblings, Doc Oxendine of Baltimore, MD, Wheeler Oxendine of Red Springs and Polly Oxendine of Red Springs. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren.
