He is survived by: his wife Priscilla Gillis Evans; his children, Angela Evans of Raleigh, NC and Ulysses Ray Evans (Keisha) of Charlotte, NC; and his siblings, Mary Ann Henney, Lorraine Winslow of Houston, TX and Ben Winslow, Jr. of Las Vegas, NV. He is also survived by four grandchildren.
