It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sally Powers of Evergreen, North Carolina, born in Mullins, South Carolina, who passed away on February 14, 2021, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Sherwood Miller and Lucille Hill Miller; her son Scott Emory Powers; and her siblings, Betty M. Tedder and Richard Miller.
She is survived by: her husband Carl Emory Powers, Jr.; her daughters, Holly Powers Williamson (Mark) of Evergreen and Hope Powers Burnett of Moncks Corner, SC; her sisters, Susan "Susie" Miller Nance of Chadbourn and Nancy Miller Weatherford (Paul, Jr.) of Fair Bluff; and her grandchildren, Branton Williamson, Ethan Williamson, Dylan Burnett, Carlee Burnett and Phyllis-Grace Williamson.
In lieu of flowers, the family request memorials be made to Hinsons Crossroads Baptist Church, Fair Bluff, NC.
