We are sad to announce that on November 29, 2024, at the age of 79, Myrtle Rose Downing Parker of Evergreen, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though her name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Myrtle Rose Downing leaves upon the hearts of her loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of her spirit and the richness of her legacy.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph Downing and Hessie Britt Downing; her husband Phillip A. Parker; and her siblings, Margaret Deaver and Lacy Downing.
She is survived by: her children, Danny E. Parker of Boardman, Keith Allen Parker (Amber) of Boardman, Lisa Rose Connor of Evergreen and Michael Lynn Parker of Boardman; and her sister Linda Francis of Westfield, NC.. She is also survived by four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
A graveside service was held on Tuesday, December 3rd 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Faith Cemetery (5190 Fayetteville Rd, Lumberton, NC 28360).
