He was predeceased by: his parents, Sampson McCormick and Beatrice McCormick; and his siblings, Mariam Ladson, Ida Ladson, Helen Johnson, Gilbert McCormick and Harold McCormick.
He is survived by: his children, Hope Owens (Terry) of Brussels Belgium, Anthony McCormick (Dorothy) of Elizabethtown, KY, James P. McCormick of Clarkton, NC and Vincent McCormick (Peggy) of San Antonio, TX; his siblings, Florence McCormick of Washington, DC and Ronnie Smith of Whiteville, NC; and his niece Ellen Gale Walls. He is also survived by grandchildren, (2) great grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
