It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Geneva Mayes of Evergreen, North Carolina, who passed away on December 16, 2020, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Liston Cothran and Regina Britt Cothran; her husband Milton Mayes; her son Wayne Mayes; and her granddaughter Melody.

She is survived by : her daughter Lynda Small (Keith) of Green Sea, SC; her sister Lou Floyd (Chuck) of Columbia, SC; her brother Edgar (Lillie) Cothran; her brother Pearlis Cothran; her grandsons, Ricky, Shane, Tyler and Heath; and her great grandchild Haven.
