He was predeceased by: his parent Letha Ellis Griffin; and his brother Mitchell Burgwin Griffin. He is survived by: his parent Frank Covington Griffin; his wife Anna Shingleton Griffin; his children, Tony Griffin (Brenda) of Evergreen, Jan Griffin of Oklahoma and Dee Griffin Lowery of Lumberton; and his stepchildren, Richard Williamson (Becky) of Evergreen and Marion Williamson of Evergreen. He is also survived by 4 grandchildren and 3 step-grandchildren.
