She is survived by: her children, Sybil Carter (Charlie) of Columbia, SC, Clifton Shaw (Gail) of Wilmington and Sammy Shaw (Joni) of Matthews; her sister Mary Byrd of Charlotte; and her grandchildren, Paige Warshaw (Larry), Brandon Carter (Karen), Cameron Walls (Kirby), Bradford Carter, Andrew Shaw (Kathleen) and Michael Shaw (Leslie). She is also survived by nine Great-Grandchildren.
