She was predeceased by: her parents, Curly Britt and Ganelle Williamson Britt; and her siblings, Edison Britt, Billy Britt, Jimmie Britt, Jerry Britt, Margie Moody, Ruby Baldwin and Lynn Blackley.

She is survived by: her children, Eugene Nichols, Jr. (Mary) of Winterville, NC, Stephanie Winn (Justin) of San Francisco, CA and Colleen Burnett (Byron) of Hampstead, NC; her siblings, Stonie Ray Britt, Sr. (Doris) of Lumberton, NC, Joe Britt of Lumberton, NC and Sallie Williamson of Evergreen, NC; and her grandchildren, Eugene III, Liam, Jacob, McKenna and Finley.
