Betty Ivey Forrester Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Betty Ivey Forrester of Evergreen, North Carolina, who passed away on December 12, 2024 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Benjamin Ivey, Sr. and Sylvia Nance Ivey; her brother Benny Ivey; and her son-in-law Greg Ward. She is survived by: her daughter Renee F. Ward Pridgen (Maurice) of Whiteville; her grandchildren, Lawson Ward and Sarah-Ivey Ward; her great grandchild Colton Ford of Lake View, SC; her pet Cocoa; her siblings, Bonnie Burge (Steve) of Evergreen and Frankie Ivey of Evergreen; and her sister-in-law Ann Ivey of Evergreen. She is also survived by nieces, nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, December 15th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 2:45 PM at the Macedonia Baptist Church. A memorial service was held on Sunday, December 15th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Macedonia Baptist Church or to Lower Cape Fear LifeCare.
