It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Atlas Howard of Evergreen, North Carolina, who passed away on August 24, 2022, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his children, Atlas Howard II, Jonathan Howard, William Howard, Christopher Howard, Joseph Howard Sr., Jeanna Howard, Antionette Howard, Keisha Howard, Andrea Howard, Natasha Sheppard and Jessica Howard; and his siblings, Samuel Howard and Jessie Bell (Smith). He was also cherished by Thirty-four Grandchildren, 17 Great Grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends.
