It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Sadie Whitley Hedgepeth of Eure, North Carolina, born in Harrellsville, North Carolina, who passed away on August 15, 2023, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father Leo Stanley Whitley, Sr.; her husband James Pollard Hedgepeth; her daughter Sandra H. Pope (Vernon); and her brother Stan Whitley. She is survived by: her son Ricky Hedgepeth (Paige); her grandsons, Rodney Pope (Leigh Morgan) and Timmy Hedgepeth (Kimberly); and her great grandchildren, Hailey and Emily.
