He is survived by: his brothers, Tommy, Douglas, Joe and Fred; his daughters, Lori Hollowell (David) of Eure, Joy Byrum (Tommy) of Eure and Dr. Elizabeth Merricks (Jeff) of Chapel Hill; his grandchildren, David Lee Hollowell, Jr., Kelli Hollowell, Jeffrey Merricks, Jr., Justin Merricks, Megan Norton (Alex), Blake Kral (David) and Thomas Byrum, III; and his great grandchildren, Lydia Burnett, Allie, Samuel, Lucy, Evie Norton, Anezka, Ezra and Lilah Kral.
