He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Eugene and Mattie Lou Smith Wester; his former wife Paulette Felton Wester; and his brother Howard E. Wester. He is survived by: his wife Jean Brinkley Eure Wester; his stepsons, Rick Eure (Teresa) of Suffolk, VA. and Kevin Eure (Carla) of Suffolk, VA.; his grandsons, Jonathan Wester, Aaron and Allen Eure; and his great grandchild Payton Wester.
A funeral service was held on Monday, November 4th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Eure Baptist Church (292 Corner High Rd, Eure, NC 27935). A reception was held on Monday, November 4th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Miller & Van Essendelft Funeral Home (304 Main St, Gatesville, NC 27938).
