He is survived by: his stepdaughter Martha Jordan; his stepgranddaughter Amy Trawick of Iron City, GA; his siblings, Mary Rice (Claude) of Eure and William T. "Bill" Sparkman (Anita) of Chesapeake, VA; and his nieces and nephews, Christy Johnson, Katy Bonk, Curtis Rice, Stephen, Phillip and Caleb Sparkman.
