She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Edgar Lee Stokes, Jr. and Myra Sharp Stokes; her significant other Wade Askew; her daughter Melissa White (Paul) of Eure; her grandchildren, Sammy (Casey) of Sunbury, Rylan of Eure, Lacey of Eure and Molly of Eure; her siblings, Lee Stokes (Kathy) of Mt. Pleasant, SC and Mary Helen Dempsey (George) of Wilson; her niece Laura Turner (Chris); and her nephew Hunter Rooker (Jacklyn).
