She was predeceased by: her parents, Tavie J. McCarson and Rosa Bryant McCarson; her son Steve M. Souther; and her siblings, Jack of Roy, JA, Doris and Kenneth McCarson (Richard Cherrix).
She is survived by: her daughter Gale S. Barnett (Johnny); her grandchildren, Bryant Barnett, Brooke Barnett, TJ Souther (Hannah) and Sarah Bond (Kell); her great grandchildren, Alina Bond, Cooper Bond, Luke Bond, Levi Bond and Savannah Souther; her daughter-in-law Linda A. Souther; her close friends, Alva Owensby, Janet Henry and Sheila McCall; and her friends, John Winstead of Charlotte and Jim Vance.
