It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Hoover of Etowah, North Carolina, born in Wilmington, Delaware, who passed away on September 22, 2020, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Faye Hoover; his parents, William J. Hoover and Leona Tammany Hoover; and his brother George William Hoover. He is survived by: his children, Robert K. Hoover (Teresa) and Laurinda Peacock (Farrow); his grandchildren, Morgan and McGowan Peacock; and his sister-in-law Barbara Cregg Hoover.

“The sweetest man. Cant even put into words. I absolutely loved when he would stop by and bring by corn, jalapenos and his dogs. We would talk about ducks, birds, and eagles trying to eat his squirrels. We always had things to talk about since my husband was in law enforcement and this was something that Bob loved as well as wearing tshirts supporting it. I sure do miss his sweet face and voice. I never got to meet his wife Faye but the way he spoke about her i know that he loved her unconditionally and couldn't wait until the day they were reunited. Every time i drive by his house i think of him but i smile knowing he is reunited with his one true love.”
