He was predeceased by: his parents, R. L. Radford and Carrie Jenkins Radford; his wife Velsie S. Radford; his son Roger Lee Radford; his siblings, Paul, Katherine, Cameron and R. L.; and his son-in-law Rodney W. Gosnell.
He is survived by: his daughters, Sandy Radford of Pisgah Forest and Karen Gosnell of Asheville; his grandson Rodney R. Gosnell; and his sister Dr. Eleanor Ruth Radford of Asheville. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, everyone is urged to donate to Four Seasons Hospice, 571 S. Allen Road, Flat Rock, NC 28731 who took such wonderful care of him.
