He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Castle and Alwina Urrey Castle; his wife Jean Castle; his children, Ryan Castle and Diane Castle; his sister Alice Edelstien; and his brother-in-law Saul Edelstien.
He is survived by: his daughter Christine Fontana (Joe); and his sisters, Doris Granger (Dick) and Lois Harvey. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
