She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence McKinley and Irene Settle Epperly; her spouse Clemmie Yon; and her siblings, Catherine Epperly, Bette Parr, Hilda Schwerdt, Frieda Buckland, Nira Flint, Earl and Clarence Jr. (Dick).
She is survived by: her son David C. Yon; her daughter-in-law Ellen Rose of Etowah; her grandchildren, David P. Yon (Sandra Vaucher) of Ft. Lauderdale and Theresa Yon (Glenn Romano) of Greensboro; her stepgranddaughter Jessica Libecap (Justin); and her great grandchildren, Rylan and Zachary Libecap of Raleigh. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
