She was predeceased by: her parents, Marlin Hall and Annie Mae Franklin Hall; and her former husband Cecil Young. She is survived by: her husband Reverend H. Ray Talley; her stepchildren, Kim Farnes (Jim), Ginger Talley and Joel Talley (Michele); and her sister Elaine Winfrey. She is also survived by four step- grandchildren and three step-great-grandchildren.
