He was predeceased by: his parents, Beatrice I. and Alden L. Doane, Jr.; and his granddaughter Tatum L. Burke. He is survived by: his wife JoAnn Doane; his daughters, Rebecca Doane and Sara Doane; his sons-in-law, Shawn Burke (Rebecca) and Daniel Long-Doane (Sara); his granddaughter Isabella Burke-Doane; and his sisters, Susan Russell, Leslie Beers and Jennifer Doane. He is also survived by five nephews, two nieces, and multiple great-nieces and nephews.
