He is survived by: his wife Rozetta Spears of Angier; his sons, Tim Spears (Myrtis) and Jeff Spears (Sjanna) of Angier; his siblings, Colene Blue of Linden, Nathaniel Spears (Shelia) and Larry Spears (Joy) of Lillington; and his siblings-in-law, Della Spears, Mary Spears of Lillington, Louise Spears of Bunnlevel, Joyce Spears of Dunn, Irene Walker of Clayton, Betty Blue of Coats, Willie Williams, Isaac Williams, James Williams, Elijah Williams of Angier and Walter Williams of Erwin. He is also survived by nine grandchildren, nineteen great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
The funeral service will be conducted Saturday, November 13, 2021 at 1:00 pm at the Cape Fear A Conference Headquarters, 25 Beaver Road, Erwin, following the facility's guidelines for entrance, capacity, and social distancing.
