He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Matthews and Naomi West Matthews; his wife Marie Matthews; his son Timothy Leon Matthews; his grandson Kyle Glass; and his brother Bob Matthews.
He is survived by: his daughter Lisa Glass (Rodney); his grandson Brett Glass (Grace); and his sisters, Daphine Davis and Gera Howe.
