He was predeceased by: his mother Julia Lane Harmon. He is survived by: his wife Paula Thornton Harmon of Erwin; his children, Stuart Ray Harmon Jr. (Taylor) of Virginia and Abby Harmon Colop (Moises) of New Bern; his brother Jeffery Lane Harmon (Karen) of Eastover; his father Walter Harmon of Erwin; his grandchildren, SJ and Noa; and his brother Jeff.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Hilltop Church Building Fund, 10212 Fayetteville Road, Fuquay Varina, NC 27526 or to the National MS Society 2610 Wycliffe Road, Suite 101, Raleigh, NC 27607 In order to keep the community safe, masks are required and social distancing is to be practiced during all services.
