It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rosa Coxum (Erwin, North Carolina), who passed away on November 8, 2021, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She is survived by: her children, Ann Thompson of Dunn, Marie Vinston of Dunn, Sylvia Coxum of Dunn, Vanessa Coxum of Columbus, GA., Al Thompson of Dunn, Willie Coxum of Dunn, Johnny Coxum (Patsy) of Dunn, Billy Coxum (Tamara) of Dunn, Leonard Coxum of Dunn and Ramsey Coxum (Diane) of Dunn; her sisters-in-law, Mattie McCrae of New York, Barbara Arrington of Dunn, Phylis Harris of Dunn, Sudie Mae Thompson of Dunn and Irene Coxum of Dunn; her aunt Alease McKoy; her children, Brian Jackson and Gina Kelly; her close friend Marilyn Jackson; and her nephew George Patrick Coxum of Texas. She is also survived by twenty-three grandchildren; a host of great- grandchildren, and great great- grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
The funeral service will be conducted Sunday, November 14, 2021 at 2:00 pm at the Cape Fear A Conference Headquarters, 25 Beaver Road, Erwin, with masks required and following the facility's guidelines for entrance, capacity, and social distancing.
