We are sad to announce that on November 25, 2020, at the age of 74, Roosevelt McDowell of Erwin, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Dillon McDowell and Madie McDowell; and his siblings, Robert McDowell and Shirley McLean. He is survived by: his niece Benita Harrington (Michael) of Lillington, NC; his nephew Lymon "Tony" McLean of Erwin, NC; his great-nephews, Darius Antoine Lewis of Erwin, NC and Christopher J'waun McKoy of Lillington, NC; his great-niece J'Kayla Cameron of Greensboro, NC; his brother-in-law Lymon McLean of Erwin, NC; his former wife Helen McDowell of Sanford, NC; his friends, Charles, Sandra Gilbert of Erwin, NC and Edith Lark; and also, Darius Antoine Lewis, Jr. and Brianna Kay Lewis of Plainview, NC.
