He was predeceased by: his parents, Wendell Keen and Donnie Mae Keen; and his siblings, Sylvia Bayles and N. W. Keen. He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Keen; his children, Wendy Keen of Erwin, Samantha Fann (Jeremy) of Sanford, Stacy Keen of Erwin, Mackie Keen (Jamie) of Godwin and Joe Keen of Erwin; his grandsons, Brycen Williams and Cody Pope; and his brother Phillip Keen (Mary Alice) of Erwin.
