He was predeceased by: his father Howard E. Bowen. He is survived by: his wife Betty Ann Bowen of Erwin; his children, John Bowen (Kelly) of Erwin, Nada Werner (Andrew) of Abu Dhabi, UAE, Holly Reardon (Derick) of Addis Ababa and Ethiopia; his mother Ida Bowen of Dunn; his siblings, Joseph Bowen of Topsfield, ME, Deborah Llewellyn of Beaufort and Krista Moore of Dunn; and his grandchildren, William, Lee, Hensley, Ann Bowen and Ty. He is also survived by his wife, children, and grandchildren.
