He is survived by: his son Ozeal Johnson of Erwin; his stepchildren, Jeanette Ledbetter (Solomon) of Erwin and Tony Ryals of California; his sisters, Portian A. Johnson of Dunn and Becky Smith of Erwin; and his foster siblings, Deaconess Alberta Dixon of Coats, Shirley Mack of Brooklyn, Gertrude Spears (Willie) of Dunn, Deacon Preston Johnson (Norine) of Coats, Evangelist Jesse Johnson (Elaine) of Coats, Paul Johnson (Ernestine) of Bunnlevel and Levon Johnson (Wanda) of Benson. He is also survived by five grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
