He is survived by: his wife Heather Winifred Gibbons; his sons, Mark St. John Gibbons (Pamela) of Erwin and Justin Scott Gibbons (Jennifer); his grandchildren, Bobby Robbins, Katherine Kugle and Sarah White; his great grandchildren, Rylee Robbins and Daniel Robbins; and his brother Peter Gibbons (Barbara).

Due to the restrictions of COVID, a private service will be held.
