She was predeceased by: her parents, Reverend D. A. Hardin and Minnie Hardin. She is survived by: her husband Donald Byrd; her daughter Delia McMillan; her grandson Joshua McMillan (Ashley); and her great grandchildren, Gunner and Rhett McMillan. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, November 10th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 2:50 PM at the Dunn Funeral Home of Erwin (904 Lucas St, Erwin, NC 28339). A funeral service was held on Sunday, November 10th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
