She is survived by: her children, Deborah Evans of Dunn, Angela Bethea of Dunn, Starlette Bethea of Dunn, Tammy Bethea of Four Oaks, Larry Evans of Dunn, William Earl Bethea of Dunn, Lee Vern Bethea of Dunn, Bronson Bethea of Dunn and Flint Bethea (Mary) of Erwin; and her siblings, Hettie McCrae (Charles), Oliver Evans, Gladys Nichols and Garland Evans, Jr. (Stella). She is also survived by twenty-seven grandchildren, twenty-nine great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
