He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene Davis and Mildred Lee West; his wife Sarah Taylor West; his brothers, Bruce and Harold West; and his son-in-law Leonard Humbert.
He is survived by: his children, Michael West (Mary Ann) and Theresa Humbert; his grandchildren, Ashley Nelson (David), Jonathan Humbert (Brittany), Mica McLamb (Mitchell) and Morgan Harrell (Joey); and his great grandchildren, A. J. Harrell, Carson Gurkin, Riley Gurkin, Madelyn McLamb, Leo Harrell and Micaden McLamb.
