She was predeceased by: her parents, Needham Ivey and Ora Phillips Ivey; her husband Buck Darroch; her son David Suggs; and her brothers, Charles Ivey and David Ivey.

She is survived by: her brother Edward Ivey (Sylvia) of Tallahassee, FL; her nieces, Tammy Perdue (Douglas) and Mica Gresham (Mike) of Buffaloe, SC; her nephew Dickie Ivey (Teresa) of Charleston, SC; and her great-nephew Lucas Perdue.

“I am so sorry to hear from a cousin of Julia's passing. She was my cousin and I loved her dearly---we had wonderful phone conversations and reminisced about our younger years. She kept me updated on what was happening in Erwin---which is where I was born and lived for a while before landing in Charlotte. I will miss her and all our memories. Her Mother and my grandmother were double first cousins, so those bonds were really close. Rest in peace my precious Julia!!!!”
