He is survived by: his wife Linda Autry Phillips; his daughter Joelle Adams (Steve) of Erwin; his grandson Zack Adams (Rachel) of Dunn; his great grandchildren, Elena Marie Tasios and Colton James Adams; his nephew Dale Phillips of Roxboro; his sister-in-law Lou Phillips of Durham; his caregiver Judith Faircloth; and his pets, Doodle and Bailey.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 18th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 6:45 PM at the O'Quinn-Peebles-Phillips Funeral Home & Crematory (1310 S Main St, Lillington, NC 27546). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 18th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location.
