He is survived by: his mother Josephine Stephens Byrd Graham; his daughter Emily Byrd Genthert (Colin); his siblings, Mark Wayne Byrd (Jennifer), Johnny Richard Byrd (Teresa) and Caroline Elizabeth Byrd Barbour; his grandchild Holden James Genthert; his nephews, Kenneth Barbour III, William Barbour, Stephen James Byrd, Christopher Alexander Byrd, Caleb Smith and Nolan Byrd; his niece Gracie Byrd; his great-nephew James; and his close friend Moose.
