She was predeceased by: her parents, Herbert Fulton Dorman and Murlen Norris Dorman; and her sisters, Margaret Dorman Moore, Emma Ruth Dorman and Jeanette Butts.

She is survived by: her daughters, Mechelle Gaines (Cleve Gaines) of Little River, SC and Jeannie Rae Bullock (Jerry Pounds) of Coats, NC; her granddaughter Emma Carson Pope of Coats, NC; her siblings, Bucky Dorman (Faye Dorman) of Eastover, NC and Nancy Honeycutt (Jack Honeycutt) of Godwin, NC; her grandchildren, Brandon Gaines (Kevin Radtke) of Hopewell, NJ and Brittany Waddell (Joey Waddell) of Lumberton, NC; and her great grandchildren, Cooper and Landon Waddell. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and loved ones.
