With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gwendolyn Avery (Erwin, North Carolina), who passed away on June 18, 2018 at the age of 97. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her children, Mike Avery (Beth) of Morrisville, Richard Avery (Lori) of Greenville, SC and Diane (Mike Dubis) of Asheboro; her grandchildren, John, Jade (Emily), Dana Dubis, Michael Avery and Michelle Eaton; her parents, Vance Johnson of Harnett County and Vola Barbour Johnson of Harnett County; her sibling Tim Johnson; and her spouse Felton Cook.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the "Youth Program" of the First Baptist Church of Erwin at 300 S 12th St, Erwin, N.C. 28339.
