He is survived by: his wife Peggy Brown Fowler; his children, Phyllis Dunn (Ben) and Giles Fowler (Regina); his great grandchildren, Lily Dunn, Cooper Dunn, Luke Adkins and Melody Adkins; and his sister-in-law Patricia Brown Whitman (Goody). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
The family has requested that in lieu of flowers, memorials be made to the Erwin United Methodist Church memorial fund at 600 Denim Drive Erwin NC 28339.
