He was predeceased by: his parents, George and Rossie Godwin Faircloth Sr.; his wife Anne Jeffreys Faircloth; and his siblings, Edwin Faircloth, Nancy Taylor, Mabel Sloan and Peggy Barefoot.

He is survived by: his children, Randy Faircloth (Dawn) of Erwin, Donnie Faircloth (Kathy) of Erwin, Ronnie Faircloth (Katie) of Erwin, Michael Faircloth (Teresa) of Charleston, SC and Hope Schachte of Erwin; and his siblings, Larry Faircloth (Martha) of Erwin, Kenny Faircloth of Erwin, Ricky Faircloth (Mary) of Benson, Timmy Faircloth (Janet) of Erwin, Patsy Plumbley (Mike) of Cleveland, TN, Pam Hobson (Rodney) of Dunn and Linda Norris (Bobby) of Coats. He is also survived by twenty grandchildren, twenty four great grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild.
