She was predeceased by: her parents, Jack Dalton and Capps Dalton; her husband E. C. Johnson, Jr.; and her grandsons, Stephen E. Johnson, Sr. and Stephen E. Johnson, Jr..
She is survived by: her children, Ernie C. Johnson, III (Brenda) and Kathy Thornton (Stanley); and her grandchildren, Chris Johnson (Michelle), Tonya Johnson Young, Craig Johnson (Beth) and Tosha Ward. She is also survived by several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 21st 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Dunn Funeral Home of Erwin (904 Lucas St, Erwin, NC 28339). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, November 21st 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
