Ragland of Henderson, Reverend Johnann Sawyer (Douglas) of Bayboro, Alberta C. Maddock (Paul) of Bayboro and Naomi C. Wilson of Bayboro; his aunt Catherine Rich of Bayboro; his godmothers, Inez Lathan of Grantsboro, Vanessa L. Bell (Lewis) of Oriental, NC. and Vera Denise Cradle (Tony) of Reelsboro; his brother-in-law Thomas Mattocks, Sr.; his parents-in-law, Willie Ray (Rebecca) of Dunn, Evelynn Hill of Raleigh, Paul Thompson (Annie) of Dunn, Ella Thompson of Raleigh, Addie Alexander (Charles) of Cadiz, KY., Earl Thompson (Sandra) of Dunn, Helen Johnson (Willard) of Covington, GA., Beatrice McCoy of Dunn and Steve Thompson of Dunn; and his friends, Charles Sparrow, Ricky Respers, Andre McKeithan and Marvin Price. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
The funeral service will be conducted Friday, August 20, 2021 at 12:00 pm at the Cape Fear A Conference Headquarters, 25 Beaver Road, Erwin, with masks required and following the facility's guidelines for entrance, capacity, and social distancing.
