It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Edward Taylor of Erwin, North Carolina, born in Smithfield, North Carolina, who passed away on June 3, 2024, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Taylor Taylor and Natalie Parrish Taylor; and his sister Rebecca Gibbs. He is survived by: his wife Judy Gregory Taylor; his sons, Edward Franklin Taylor, Junior (Rhonda), Gregory Curtis Taylor (Catherine) and Christopher Ryan Taylor (Allison); and his grandchildren, Amity, Sara, Emily, Hunter, Erin, Hailey, Braeden, Matthew and Lauren. He is also survived by four great-grandchildren.
