It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edmond Grantham Wade of Erwin, North Carolina, who passed away on March 10, 2025, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Wade and Dora Moore Wade; and his former wife Linda Wade. He is survived by: his wife Eleanor Wade; his children, Ty Wade and Lindy Macon (Gary); his daughter-in-law Missy Wade; his stepsons, David Lee (Michelle) and Carl Lee (Patsy); his sisters, Gail Wood (Larry), Faye Pope (Harry) and Jean Daniels (Jerry); his sister-in-law Kaye Hairr; his grandchildren, Jacob Wade and Kenzi Sullivan (Matthew); his stepgrandchildren, Brandon Lee and Pamela Johnson (Joey); his great grandchild Siege Sullivan; and his stepgreat-grandchild Enzlee Johnson.
Visitation was held on Monday, March 17th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Skinner & Smith Funeral Home (905 Erwin Rd, Dunn, NC 28334). A funeral service was held on Monday, March 17th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
